Six Sigma Green Belt Training

LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Training
Schedule:  Six days

Traditional Six Sigma focuses on eliminating defects and costs associated with poor quality, while Lean seeks to eliminate wasteful activities. Lean Six Sigma combines the best practices of each.

This course uses the Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) structure and methodology in a more holistic approach providing a broader set of tools, principles and ways of thinking. Combining the quality and infrastructure of six sigma with the speed and flexibility of lean methods leads to a powerful continuous improvement process to improve business results and customer satisfaction.

Target Audience:
Green Belts typically lead projects in their own work group and assist Black Belts in more comprehensive projects. The purpose of this training is to give participants the ability to dig deeper into problems and to learn about the process. Process knowledge and the systematic use of tools and techniques lead to successful process improvement. (Jack Welsh required all managers at GE to be Green Belts.)
