Solution: IMC recommended a Gap Analysis to establish what is required to bring the existing system up to ISO 9000 certification levels. Gap Analysis is one of the IMC's ISO 9000 Customized Consulting Services.
Results: IMC conducted the Gap Analysis and provided a written report at a follow-up meeting with Cove Shoe.
As a result of the Analysis, IMC had two more projects with Cove Shoe. Cove Shoe's ISO management representative worked with the IMC to write their Quality Manual and procedure level documentation. IMC also conducted an on-site internal auditor training class for 14 employees this year.
IMC will be providing Cove Shoe with a Pre-Assessment audit in preparation for their third party registration audit.
