Jim Shillenn
Executive Director/CEO
Jim Shillenn has been Executive Director of IMC since August 1995.
Prior to joining IMC, Jim spent nearly 20 years with Penn State University. While at Penn State he held positions in the College of Engineering, the Biotechnology Institute and was Executive Director of the Bioprocessing Resource Center, which provided manufacturing process development assistance to the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries. Currently, Jim is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Manufacturers Resource Center and Recycling Markets Center where he is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. He also serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for Penn College and the Advisory Board for the Plastic's Manufacturing Center at Penn College. He is also past chairman of Pennsylvania's Industrial Resource Center Network and is now serving as treasurer. Jim graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Biology and served over three years of active duty in the U.S. Army.
Alan Gehringer
Managing Director
Alan, has 25 years experience in manufacturing with a concentration in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Process Improvement, Product Costing, Production Planning, Quality Systems, Product Development, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, Executive Coaching and Strategic Planning. Alan has experience working with small and large companies. Past positions held include Vice President, Manufacturing Services Manager, Manager of Engineering and Management Consultant.
Alan has a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science - Industrial Engineering, Associate of Science - Apparel Engineering and has received Six Sigma Black Belt and Extensive Lean Training as well as Financial Analysis.
Alan serves on the Local Advisory Committee for the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center, is a Member of the Altoona Rotary Club and the Penn State Learning Factory Industry Advisory Board.
Dan Manetta
Business Advisor
Dan joined IMC in 2007, bringing over 10 years of experience in developing corporate training and education programs in both manufacturing and service industries. Dan has also been involved in strategic planning, change management, organizational development, leadership and management. Dan has a Master's Degree in Business Education from Bloomsburg University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
As the IMC Business Advisor for Union, Clinton, Snyder and Juniata counties, Dan will be working with businesses to explore new technologies and markets, innovate new processes and products, and deliver distinctive goods and services.
Linda Weaver
Business Advisor
Linda has 25 years experience in manufacturing with a concentration in process improvement, team related and quality systems activities. She held positions of Team Leader, Focus Group Facilitator, Work Team Coordinator and Quality Facilitator at a major business forms company and was responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the certified ISO9002 Quality System.
Linda has a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Bloomsburg University. She is a member of ASQ Section 501 and of ASTD. Linda has facilitated several Lean 101 workshops for companies in the Williamsport area for the past four years.
Ed Zubavich

usiness Advisor
Ed has over 20 years of experience as an Engineer, Vice President of Operations & Sales and President, with a unique range of experience in the areas of technology, specialty products for industrial, medical and nonwoven/paper/film markets. He is a graduate of Penn State University and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ed has expertise in domestic and international manufacturing, marketing, new business & product development and business restructuring.
Lauri Moon
Marketing & Events Coordinator
Lauri joined the IMC in November 1990. In her current position as Marketing & Events Coordinator, Lauri coordinates and supports all logistic functions associated with marketing, seminars, workshops and other organizational activities and events that promote IMC and its services.
Katie Bell
Williamsport/ Lycoming KIZ Coordinator
Katie Bell is the Williamsport/Lycoming Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) Coordinator and helps clients to develop products, technologies and new business start-ups. The KIZ is host to 7 KIZ companies and is currently assisting 60+ pre start-up clients. To date, Katie has helped 8 clients apply for patents, placed 31 interns with local companies and entrepreneurs and allocated over $150,000 toward clients research and development efforts. Katie coordinated alumni, parent and volunteer programs at Bucknell University and Lycoming College and previously managed special projects, grants and initiatives at IMC. Katie also co-owned a small business in downtown Williamsport for three years while maintaining her full-time professional work.
Outside of work Katie is a founder of the Williamsport/Lycoming Young Professionals organization, is on the Leadership Lycoming Board of Trustees, a committee member of the Susquehanna Health Foundation's Keystone Society and assists with animal rescue. She is a graduate of Lycoming College with concentrations in Marketing, Finance and Economics.
Rikki Riegner
Business & Special Projects Manager
Rikki is responsible for managing the administrative and special projects activities of IMC.
Kim Vanemon
Accounting Assistant
As Accounting Assistant, Kim assists with a variety of accounting functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Lauren Bryson
Statewide IRC Network Coordinator
Lauren’s education and experience are in the areas of marketing and economic development. Notable marketing successes included key roles in developing a state-of-the-art economic development marketing website, creating numerous marketing materials and coordinating initiatives and events around economic development. Lauren has extensive experience in leadership, graphics design, market research and strategic marketing plan development. She has been involved with and completed training in many aspects of economic development including marketing, attraction, retention, workforce development, education, infrastructure and development. In addition to her experience and education in economic development marketing, Lauren graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, an Associates Degree in Sales Management, a Concentration in Sociology, and an International Marketing Certificate from Brugge, Belgium.
