Salute to Central Pennsylvania Manufacturers

On behalf of myself and the IMC staff, I would like to thank all of our current and past clients for the opportunity to serve you and for the trust you have placed in IMC to assist you in growing your businesses and value.  I would also like to thank our sponsors who help make this support possible through the Private Public Partnership that funds the Industrial Resource Center and Manufacturing Extension Partnership Programs, the only partnership of its kind solely focused on supporting and growing manufacturing.  Success would not be possible without the collaboration of our partners and consultants who offer our clients the best resources available to meet their individual needs.  Since our inception in 1988, IMC has assisted over 600 companies.  This past year, our clients reported $68,194,609 in impact from our services and created or retained 509 jobs.  IMC clients experience measurable results from the support and services we offer as documented by an independent third-party survey.

IMC has spent the past year working with engaged, progressive manufacturing companies who saw the downturn in the economy as an opportunity to work on their businesses and position themselves to emerge even stronger in the years to come.  Our experienced professionals have been helping companies develop new top line growth strategies that create innovative products for new and existing markets while improving bottom line profitability by implementing process innovation strategies.  As a result, many of our client companies have not experienced the loss of sales that others have and several counties in our region have a lower unemployment level than the national average.

We continue to enhance the knowledge we have in order to bring the most relevant and highest value services to our clients.  Many new offerings are in development and will be rolled out in 2011.  Our Business Advisors and Consultants are passionate about the work they do and committed to working hand-in-hand with our client companies to achieve their goals.

IMC is proud to serve the manufacturers of Central Pennsylvania and see this as the most important sector of Pennsylvania’s economy and a strategic investment that addresses the severe economic challenges the Commonwealth faces today.  Our goal is to help Pennsylvania Manufacturers drive profitable growth while making ‘Made in PA’ a reality!  We do this every day, one company at a time.
